I'm doing a chemistry lab report and one part of the discussion section we have to answer a couple questions. One is, When a material changes, an odor may be detected in both chemical and physical changes. Describe a specific example of each kind of change. I any examples of an odor being chemical and physical.

Also, is baking a potato a physical change or a chemical change? I'm pretty sure it's physical but I could use a confirmation.
