Most of the time I get stop'd by the police; on my bicycle they tell me it is illegal to ride on the sidewalk and without a light. They tell me that I have to ride in the bike lane, which there are not many in greater Los Angeles. I think they are profiling me; they always search my knapsack and my pockets and my I.D.! But they never give me a ticket; if I have broken the law?
