I bought a new bicycle and I was planning on taking it to school. The thing is, I just noticed that it might be big for the bus rack. Does anyone know how long does a bike have to be to fit in the bus rack?

I was looking online at http://www.metro.net/ but I could not find any info. I live in Los Angeles.
